Supplies
Preheat oven to 200oC / 392oF
Combine all dry ingredients in large mixing bowl.
Put the butter into a saucepan and put on a low medium heat
Here the butter is starting to melt, stir frequently.
Slice your apples into thin slices. Keeping the skin on is optional :)
The butter is melted and ready to combine
Pour the butter into the mixing bowl with dry ingredients
Stir in
If the mixture seems too runny add some more flour
This is the consistency you want
Roll the mix around pressing together to form a firm combined dough
Press into pie dish, even it out and make sure it's not too thick in the middle as the pastry won't cook properly
If you have any leftover pastry feel free to make a smaller pie :)
Put apples in a large bowl and cover with cinnamon and sugar
Toss them around to get an even coating
Start decorating :)
Done and ready to put into the oven :)
Pop in the oven for 20-25 minutes until pastry is golden brown
Done :) yum!
